Management Team

MREMs management team is comprised of experienced professionals from both the real estate and financial sectors.

Martin C. Bicknell

Prior to forming Mariner, Martin was a Senior Vice President - Investments of A.G. Edwards & Sons. During his fifteen year tenure there, he led a staff of professional financial consultants in providing customized wealth management solutions for public and private corporations, high net-worth individuals and their families, and charitable organizations. In addition to managing the team, he was actively involved with the execution phase of the financial plans developed for the company's sophisticated clients.

In addition to his role with MREM, Mr. Bicknell is the Chief Executive Officer of Mariner Wealth Advisors, LLC, an investment adviser providing financial planning, consulting and investment management services to its high net worth and small business, corporate clients. Marty Bicknell is a counselor and board member to several small to medium-sized businesses, including Xceligent, Inc., Pitt Plastics, Inc., National Mills, Inc., Zouire Incorporated, Bicknell Properties, LLC and National Pizza Company.

Martin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Pittsburg State University in 1991.

S. Kirk Lambright Jr.

Prior to forming MREM, Kirk had over 15 years of comprehensive business and legal experience working with a diverse clientele from small to Fortune 500 to international arenas. Previously, he served as Associate General Counsel for Anheuser-Busch Companies. In addition, he owned Classic Eagle Distributing, L.L.C.

Over the years, Kirk has established a successful track record of spearheading change management, increasing market share and sales volume, reducing employee turnover, cutting cost, handling legislative issues, negotiating resolutions and managing diverse aspects of the total business. As a result of his varied background, Kirk has gained expertise in areas related to financial, logistical, marketing, human resources and product issues. In addition, he is a strong leader skilled in forging strategic partnerships.

Kirk received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, and his Juris Doctorate and MBA from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. Active in the community, he volunteers with a number of charities and organizations.

Ryan K. Anderson

Mr. Anderson, co-president and partner of MREM, provides overall strategic and investment direction for MREM. Mr. Anderson leads the business development, acquisitions and investor relations functions of MREM.

Prior to the creation of MREM, Mr. Anderson co-founded and owned Anderson Property Development (“APD”), a full-service real estate development and construction management company. APD has developed and invested in real estate throughout the Midwest. In addition, Mr. Anderson co-owns various real estate related service entities that specialize in property maintenance and home owner management. Prior to APD Mr. Anderson was with Site Rite, a development infrastructure company located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Anderson earned a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business and Spanish from Rockhurst University, located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Terry D. Anderson

Mr. Anderson, co-president and partner of MREM, provides overall strategic and investment direction for MREM. Mr. Anderson leads the business development, financial management and asset management functions of MREM.

Prior to the creation of MREM, Mr. Anderson co-founded and owned Anderson Property Development (“APD”), a full-service real estate development and construction management company. APD has developed and invested in real estate throughout the Midwest. In addition, Mr. Anderson co-owns various real estate related service entities that specialize in property maintenance and home owner management. Mr. Anderson earned a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and Accounting from Rockhurst University, located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kyle N. Siner

Mr. Siner, as Chief Financial Officer of MREM, oversees all accounting, financial and tax reporting functions for MREM, its funds, and many of its investments.

Prior to joining MREM, Mr. Siner held varied financial management positions in public accounting and private industry, ranging from family-owned businesses to a Fortune 100 corporation. Mr. Siner began his career with the big four accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche. Over 14 years, Mr. Siner has obtained management and in-depth technical experience and expertise in acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, investment groups, investment funds, financial products, private equity, venture capital, and tax planning for businesses and individuals.

Mr. Siner received a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Rockhurst University and a Master’s of Science of Accounting from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Mr. Siner is a certified public accountant (CPA), licensed in the states of Missouri and Kansas.

Corey E. Walker

As Vice President of MREM, Mr. Walker assists in asset strategy development, acquisitions and oversees the management and disposition of real estate assets and the workout of non-performing loans.

Prior to joining MREM, Mr. Walker was senior associate at a land planning and entitlement consulting firm, specializing in zoning regulations, development review, economic analysis, improvement districts and operations.

Mr. Walker earned a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the Bloch School of Business at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and a Bachelor’s of Science in Community and Regional Planning with a minor in Economics from Iowa State University. Corey is active in the Urban Land Institute, a member of the Kansas City District Council’s Executive Committee.

Gregory R. Walton

Greg is the founder and former president and C.E.O. of Walton Construction Company, LLC. Walton has an annual sales volume of $800+ million with office locations in Kansas City, New Orleans, Shreveport, Dallas, St. Louis, and Springfield, Missouri. The firm's primary projects include medium and high-rise office buildings, major shopping centers, arena/convention centers, and manufacturing facilities.

In addition to founding Walton Construction, Greg is also the founder and former president of Ozark Apples, Inc.--a franchisee of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar; the former managing partner of FAZ Associates, LLC--a franchisee of Fazoli's Italian Restaurants; and a co-managing partner of OWL Associates, a site planning, zoning, design, and construction and financing firm for commercial retail properties.

Greg received his Associate of Science degree from Wentworth Military Academy and his Bachelor of Science degree from Finlay Engineering College, University of Missouri--Columbia. He is very active in the community and is involved with a number of Kansas City-based philanthropic organizations.
