Ryan Anderson is the co-president of MREM and provides overall strategic and investment direction for the firm. Ryan leads MREM’s business development, acquisition and investor relations functions. He has spearheaded the acquisition of $860 million of debt since MREM’s formation.

Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Spanish and a master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.

Terry Anderson

Terry Anderson is the co-president of MREM and provides overall strategic and investment direction for the firm. Terry leads the business development, financial management and asset management functions of MREM. He has spearheaded the acquisition of $860 million of debt since MREM’s formation.

Terry has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and a master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.

Kyle Siner, CPA

Chief Financial Officer, Mariner Real Estate Management, LLC

Kyle Siner is the chief financial officer of Mariner Real Estate Management and is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial and tax reporting functions. Kyle has 15 years of industry experience in acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, joint ventures, investment groups, investment funds, private equity, venture capital and tax planning.

Kyle has a bachelor’s degree from Rockhurst University and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Tim Mazzetti

Partner and Executive Vice President, Cohen Financial, LP

As a partner and executive vice president, Tim Mazzetti leverages Cohen’s existing real estate services group in order to build a best-in-class third-party fee services platform. He has vast experience in the areas of commercial loan servicing, special servicing and technology solutions.

Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joe E. Greenhaw

Executive Vice President, Special Servicing, Cohen Financial, LP

Joe Greenhaw serves as executive vice president of special servicing, bringing more than 35 years of commercial and investment real estate experience to his role. He has an extensive background in asset management, special credits, underwriting, due diligence and valuation, credit administration and surveillance, brokerage, property management and construction.

Joe has a bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University.

Dean Wheeler

Partner and Executive Vice President, Cohen Financial, LP

As a partner and executive vice president, Dean Wheeler leads the firm’s loan administration operations. He is responsible for overseeing customer service, portfolio reporting, loan operations, asset management, special servicing, compliance training and servicing systems administration. Dean has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Dean has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Northern Iowa.

Douglas L. Miller

Senior Legal Counsel, Mariner Real Estate Management, LLC

Douglas Miller brings more than 10 years of experience to his role as senior legal counsel. He previous served as the lead servicer’s counsel on a variety of securitization transactions totaling more than $1 billion. He has significant experience working with commercial lenders, and he has negotiated and documented more than $100 million of commercial real estate loans. Doug has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Missouri State University. He has a juris doctorate and a master’s of law (taxation) from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Doug maintains licenses in Kansas, Missouri and New York.

Corey Walker

Director of Asset Management, Mariner Real Estate Management, LLC

As the director of asset management, Corey Walker assists in strategy development and acquisitions and oversees the management and disposition of real estate assets and the workout of non-performing loans. Corey’s background includes experience with development review, zoning regulations, economic analysis, operations and improvement districts.

Corey has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and a master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Ted Wright

Managing Director, Cohen Financial, LP

Ted Wright has 17 years of real estate and management experience. He has managed 14 asset managers and financial analysts that were responsible for $8 billion in commercial real estate loans. He has also overseen $1 billion in construction loans.

Ted has a bachelor’s degree from Principia College and a master’s of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Deborah Schiavo

Managing Director, Debt Advisory Group, Cohen Financial, LP

Deborah Schiavo has worked for 18 years in the financial and real estate industries and has extensive real estate finance and asset securitization experience. She has worked on transactions with loan balances in excess of $400 million.

Deborah has a master’s of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing.

Chris Cimino

Managing Director, Special Servicing, Cohen Financial, LP

Chris Cimino has 24 years of commercial and residential real estate finance and loan workout experience. He is responsible for managing all activities related to the performance, risk management and credit aspects of the asset.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a master’s of Business Psychology from St. Joseph’s University.

Martin Bicknell is the co-founder of Mariner Holdings, with $9 billion in assets under management. Martin has more than 20 years of experience and is a recognized leader in the financial industry. In Barron’s 2010 list of the Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors, Martin was ranked the number one advisor in Kansas and the number two advisor in the country.

Martin has a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburgh State University.

Timothy Connealy

Chief Financial Officer, Mariner Holdings, LLC

As chief financial officer, Timothy Connealy has more than 30 years of banking and accounting experience. He most recently served at Dickinson Financial Corporation/Bank Midwest, where he was responsible for operational, administrative and risk management activities. Prior to that, he worked at CNB Financial Corporation/Commercial National Bank and then at UMB Financial Corporation/UMB Bank.

Gary P. Henson, CFA, CFP

Chief Investment Officer, Mariner Holdings, LLC

Gary Henson manages equities, derivatives and fixed-income portfolios for banks, insurance companies, tax exempt funds and high-net-worth individuals. He is also responsible for strategic and tactical development and is instrumental in lift outs and acquisitions. He has more than 25 years of industry experience and has served as a consultant for the Kansas State University Foundation.

Gary has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts.
